I'm using the IUCN RedList classification, which is organized as follows:

The IUCN Red List category of Least Concern (LC) is assigned to species that are not currently in danger of extinction. The criteria for a species to be classified in this category are:

Stable or increasing population: Populations are sufficiently stable or increasing that they do not pose a significant risk of extinction.
Wide geographic distribution: A large geographic range that reduces the risk of extinction from local threats.
Low or no threats: Species do not face immediate or significant threats that could cause their populations to decline rapidly.
